Just a short time ago, MTA NYC Transit announced that they will be running on a regular weekday schedule tomorrow after the major snowstorm that hit the tri-state area. Here are the details:
As of Tuesday afternoon, January 27, New York City Transit subways, buses and Staten Island Railway are operating on a Sunday service schedule on all lines. Bus managers will continue to adjust service levels based on ridership and road conditions. Customers are encouraged to check alert.mta.info for the latest updates on specific bus routes. MTA personnel are continuing to remove snow from station platforms and staircases, but customers should use extreme caution when navigating throughout the system. Access-A-Ride customers may continue to schedule trips of medical necessity on Tuesday.
Subways, buses and Staten Island Railway will run regular weekday service on Wednesday, January 28. NYCT Buses will operate buses with snow chains on select routes and closely monitor road conditions to assess whether continued use of snow tire equipment is necessary.
Regular service resumes for Access-A-Ride customers on Wednesday, January 28.
