Metro North Service Update For Wed Feb 4

As many would expect, service on the Metro-North Harlem line will be altered due to the tragic accident in Valhalla last night. Here are the details:

Because of the accident tonight at Valhalla, Metro-North is providing alternate service tomorrow for Harlem Line customers. Customers should expect delays and crowding conditions.

Trains will operate from Wassaic to Southeast, where customers will be able to board a bus to Beacon on the Hudson Line.

Electric train service will operate from Brewster to Goldens Bridge. Then customers will board a bus shuttle to North White Plains where they will get back on a train.

From Goldens Bridge to Pleasantville, customers will board buses for the trip to North White Plains.

Train service will operate normally from North White Plains and all points south.

There will not be service at Valhalla or Hawthorne. Customers should go to an alternate station.

Metro-North will cross honor tickets on the Hudson and New Haven lines. There will be free parking at Cortlandt.
