Coolers Cause LIRR Service Suspension

Yes, you read it right. The all mighty cooler which millions use at beaches, parks, etc… is what caused the Long Island Rail Road to suspend service on the Port Jefferson line between Hicksville & Huntington for almost 2 hours Saturday night.

A good portion of the public are mindless sheep who are brainwashed by the whole terrorism hoax & subsequent “See Something, Say Something” campaigns that encourage to report suspicious people or packages on or near facilities. One of these sheep saw some coolers & eventually the Nassau County Police Bomb Squad were called in. Ann Givens & Candice Ferrette of Newsday have more in this brief report:

Service on the Long Island Railroad’s Port Jefferson line was suspended between Hicksville and Huntington for about two hours Saturday night after two boxes suspected to be bombs were found near the track, officials said.

A spokesman for the MTA said the Nassau County Police Bomb Squad was called when two white coolers were spotted under the Woodbury Road overpass in Woodbury.

Officials shut down power between Hicksville and Huntington shortly after 7 p.m. while the bomb squad investigated.

Service was restored about 8:50 p.m. after police determined there was nothing dangerous in the coolers, the spokesman said.

I’m sure whomever saw the coolers & reported it feels so proud of what they did. Sorry but all you did was inconvenience riders under the fake disguise of safety & security. When will you people wake up & get it? Seriously……..
